On 25 February, Tibetans in Antwerp led by Tibetan association celebrated Losar . The ceremony proceeded with the students of the Tibetan language and culture school singing the national anthem and observation of a minute of silence for the Tibetan martyrs.

Secretary Thinley Wangdue as the chief guest greeted the Tibetan gathering on Losar and stated that His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s recent assertion to live upto 113 years was a good news for all Tibetans and advised the gathering to raise their children as the future seeds of Tibet.

After this there was a cultural performance by the students of Sherab Nangjey school and the programme concluded with the circle dance by the Tibetan community.
