Spain: The Tibetan Community Association of Spain celebrated the enactment of the Resolve Tibet Act 2024 into US law following its signing by President Joe Biden on 12 July 2024. The bill had garnered significant bipartisan support in both houses of Congress.

President Migmar Tsering of the Spain Tibetan Community Association addressed the gathering, emphasising the significance of the Resolve Tibet Act in advancing the Tibetan freedom movement. The summer picnic was kicked off with community members chanting the Long Life Prayers for the longevity of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s good health. After the praying session, members enjoyed a Tibetan circle dance, symbolizing unity and celebration among the community in honour of the enactment of the Resolve Tibet Act 2024. The picnic concluded with joyful games in which the members actively participated.
