Secretary of Brussel’s Office of Tibet Attends Ganden Ngamchoe Ceremony in Belgium

Secretary Thinley Wangdue of the Office of Tibet, Brussels, joined by Geshe Tsetan Phuntsok, Buddhist Philosophy Teacher Jigme Gyatso and ་Metok Rinpoche

Secretary Thinley Wangdue of the Office of Tibet, Brussels, attended and addressed the Ganden Ngamchoe ceremony organised by the Sera Jey Buddhist Cultural Centre of Belgium at Schoten monastery in Antwerp on 18 December.

The ceremony was attended by Metok Rinpoche, Geshe Tsetan Phuntsok, President Namgyal Sangay of Sera Jey Buddhist Cultural Centre of Belgium and Buddhist Philosophy Teacher Jigme Gyatso.

President Namgyal Sangay briefly addressed the gathering on the significance of the day, followed by the addresses of Buddhist Philosophy Teacher Jigme Gyatso and Metok Rinpoche.

Secretary Thinley Wangdue, in his address, expressed admiration for the knowledge imparted by Jey Rinpoche and said that the most important thing was to follow the teachings of Jey Rinpoche sincerely and to examine whether one’s actions were in sync with the teachings of the Rinpoche. He further advised imbibing the regular advice of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

The event concluded with mass prayers led by Geshe Tsetan Phuntsok.
