On the invitation of H.E. Edita Hrda, Czech Permanent Representative to the EU, H.E. Pavel Klucky, Czech Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and H.E. Jakub Landovksy, Czech Permanent Representative to NATO, Representative Rigzin Genkhang joined the 104th National Day celebration of the Czech Republic in Brussels on Friday, October 28, 2022. On this day in 1918, the independence of Czechoslovakia was officially proclaimed in Prague.
The official ceremony began with the playing of the Czech national anthem and followed by brief speeches from the three Ambassadors. The guests were then invited to a reception where typical Czech food and beverages were served.
The event was organised at the Cercle Royal Gaulois, located at the heart of Brussels, which for decades has been a meeting point for diplomats, scientists, politicians, academics and corporate executives.
