On the invitation of the U-Tsang Association, Representative Rigzin Choedon Genkhang on Saturday, 8 April 2023 attended its 6th founding anniversary as the Chief Guest in Antwerpen, Belgium.

Representative Genkhang extended her greetings to the public and thanked the outgoing U-tsang association board members for the service rendered over the years and wished her best wishes to the incoming board members. She then updated everyone on the excellent health of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the ongoing critical situation prevailing in Tibet. She also apprised the public about the recent changes regarding Green book contribution.

The program began with offering of scarves to the portrait of His Holiness the Dalai Lama followed by the singing of Tibetan National anthem and observing a minute’s silence to honour the martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for Tibet.

U-tsang President Zomkyi reminded the association’s primary mission and presented a brief activity report undertaken during her three year’s term to the public.

The program concluded with the presentation of cultural performances and recitation of His Holiness’s principal commitments and other advices on how to be a good human being by students of Tibetan weekend schools. Accountant Tenzin Nordhen of the Office of Tibet, Brussels also in attendance.
