MISSION: JOY screened in the European Parliament

January 31, 2023

Brussels: Office of Tibet, Brussels, in collaboration with the office of MEP Mikulas Peksa, President of the Tibet Interest Group, organized the screening of “MISSION: JOY- Finding happiness in troubled times” in the European Parliament on January 31, 2023.

Before the film started, MEP Peksa gave a brief introduction about how the documentary came into being. He said the choice of the film was very appropriate and timely in the current troubled times.

The film invited the viewers to witness the genuine, endearing and unlikely friendship between two of the most respected contemporary leaders of our time. They impart lessons gleaned from lived experience, ancient traditions, and the latest cutting-edge science regarding how to live with joy in the face of all of life’s challenges from the extraordinary to the mundane. The film took the audience on a roller coaster of emotions filled with laughter, warmth and tears.

Mostly staffers of the European Parliament but also a few outsiders including Mr Vincent Metten, EU Policy Director of ICT attended the event.

Representative Rigzin Choedon Genkhang attended the film screening accompanied by Secretary Thinley Wangdue and Accountant Tenzin Nordhen of the Office of Tibet, Brussels.
