His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s Timeless Messages of Peace, Compassion and Kindness Light Up the Streets of Brussels

September 5, 2025

Brussels: This month, the streets of Brussels have been illuminated with a powerful message of peace, compassion and kindness. A striking new billboard campaign shares the timeless words of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, offering a gentle reminder of our shared humanity during times of uncertainty and change.

Positioned across key locations in the city, the billboards display short, impactful quotes that speak to the heart. Each message encourages reflection, empathy, and a deeper commitment to peaceful living. Whether seen by a daily commuter or a curious tourist, these messages create moments of quiet inspiration amid the fast-paced life in the city.

The campaign is a spiritual invitation to live with greater awareness, to treat one another with respect, and to build a world rooted in understanding thereby capturing the essence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s message. In a time when division can often dominate public discourse, this initiative serves as a beacon of hope and unity.

Brussels has become a canvas for compassion, its streets glowing not just with lights, but with the wisdom of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

This initiative is part of the global observance of the Year of Compassion honouring the 90th birthday of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet.
