Discourse on Four Noble Truth held at Tibetan Buddhist Centre in Belgium

A discourse on Four Noble Truths was held in Antwerp’s Schoten organised by Shedrup Tengye Ling, a Tibetan Buddhist centre on Saturday, 16 July.

The Secretaries of Brussels-based Office of Tibetan participated in the discourse officiated by Zeekyab Rinpoche.

Before the commencement of the discourse, five young Tibetans recited the four principal commitments of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and some of the talks delivered by His Holiness.

Secretary Thinley Wangdu extended lauded the initiative of hosting the discourse and extended his appreciation to Ven Tseten Phuntsok, founder of the centre for hosting several such seminars in the past and forming a union of Tibetans spread across Belgium with a special focus on introducing Buddhism to younger generation.

Buddhist philosophy teacher at Tibetan weekend school, Jigme Gyatso moderated the discourse led by Geshes and notable Tibetan Buddhist philosophy masters. Prayers were recited in tribute to Tibetan martyrs.

The head of CTA’s Tibet Advocacy Section, Dukthen Kyi was at the event to shed a light on CTA’s Voluntary Tibet Advocacy Group (V-TAG) initiative to the Tibetans gathered.
