
Choerig Zinkyong’s Jamyang Lophel Sunday school in Belgium organised a week-long cultural workshop for Tibetan youth as part of its summer camp curriculum. The cultural workshop is attended by 140 students of age above eight years old.
The workshop held from 4-11 July 2022 at Patrul Rinpoche’s Buddhist Centre Dharma city in Florennes was attended by Secretary Thinley Wangdue of Belgium’s Office of Tibet on 6th day of the workshop and attended by Tibetans from over six regions in Belgium.

Director Jigme of the Chorig Zinkyong School apprised about aims and objectives of a series of 11 summer camp cultural workshops held till now and presented a brief report of income and expenditure of the workshop held annually.
In his inaugural remarks, Secretary Thinley Wangdue lauded the joint initiatives of Choerig Zinkyong and parents for capacitating a platform where Tibetan youth could gain a deep understanding of their cultural identity and traditional practices. He advised the students to equally make the foremost use of the learning opportunity.
The ceremony concluded with felicitations of the graduating students by the chief guest followed by cultural performances by the students and parents.
