
Brussels: On 23 August 2025, the Belgium-based regional Global Tibetan People’s Movement for Middle Way Approach organised the book launch event of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s “Voice for the Voiceless” in Tibetan version along with the photo exhibition showcasing His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s life and legacies.
The event’s main speaker was Geshe Lhakdor, Director of the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives in Dharamshala. The guests in attendance included Dhundup Gyalpo, Tibetan Liaison Officer for European countries from Bureau du Tibet along with Venerable Phra Raja Visuddhivides, a Thai Buddhist monk.
The event began with the welcome address by Lhamo Dhondup, Director of the Belgium Middle Way Movement, followed by the keynote address by Dhondup Gyalpo, who emphasised on the importance of continuance on His Holiness’s legacy. He shared about His Holiness’s dedicated aspirations for the welfare of all sentient beings, and the importance of spreading it further across boundaries.
The Tibetan Liaison Officer highlighted that Ghoton Organising Committee of Office of Tibet has been expanding various programs under the ‘Year of Compassion’ initiative, and he encouraged, the community’s participation in the forthcoming events.
The event concluded with the teachings from Geshe Lhakdor and Venerable Phra Raja Visuddhivides, which was followed by Q&A session.
