On the invitation of the Embassy of India to Belgium, Luxembourg and the European Union, Representative Rigzin Genkhang and EU Advocacy Officer Tenzin Phuntsok attended the 76th Republic Day reception at the Steigenberger Wiltcher’s Hotel in Brussels.

The event brought together diplomats from various countries, including representatives from the European Union and members of the Indian community.

In his address, His Excellency Ambassador Saurabh Kumar highlighted several high-level engagements and the ever-increasing strategic partnership between his country, the European Union, Belgium, and Luxembourg. He also emphasised India’s critical role and commitment in strengthening global peace.

The event served as an opportunity to strengthen ties with the Indian mission while also reaching out to the diplomatic circle. The reception also featured a vibrant cultural performance and an exhibition showcasing India’s rich and diverse cultural heritage.
