Paris: The 2nd General meeting of Tibetan Communities in Europe co-organized by OOT Geneva and Tibetan Community France concluded yesterday by reaffirming profound gratitude to His Holiness the Dalai Lama and to work in cooperation with Central Tibetan Administration guidelines and policies.
The members unanimously passed the following resolution:
- Tibetan language, tradition and culture: To organize the lecture on Tibetan Buddhism, Tibet history, tradition and Culture, summer camp and workshop for weekend school teachers.
- Political activity: To send a petition to EU and respective countries requesting to join with other countries in Diplomatic Boycott for Beijing Winter Olympic 2022 and to organise a protest at the respective country with the banner Save Tibet-Boycott Beijing 2022, Stop Genocide in Tibet-Boycott Beijing 2022 and also to seek a maximum number of people from respective Tibetan Community for the protest organised by Tibetan Community of Swiss on the opening ceremony of Beijing winter Olympic 2022. To improve relations with Parliament, local political leaders and Tibet support groups and organized joint events.
